पुरीष — {púrīṣa} n. (√{pṝ}) earth, land RV##(esp.) crumbling or loose earth, rubbish (perhaps 'that which fills up', as opp. to that which flows off, 'the solid' opp. to the fluid), rubble, anything used to fill up interstices in a wall VS.
