निमेष — {ni-ḍmeṣá} m. shutting the eye, twinkling, winking &c. (also as a measure of time i.e. a moment##{ṣād iva}, in a moment &c##{ṣaṃ nimeṣam}, every moment##as a disease )##N. of a Yaksha##{-kṛt} f. 'twinkler', lightning##{-tás} ind. with regard to the shutting of the eyes##{-dyut}, or {-ruc} m. a fire-fly##{-mātra} n. merely an instant##({eṇa}), ind. in barely a moment##{ṣântara} n. = {nimiṣ} (cf. under {cārin})##{ṣârdhāt} ind. in half a twinkling of the eyes, in less than an instant
