उत्था — {ut-thā} ({ud-√sthā} Pāṇ. 8-4, 61##cf. {ut-tambh}, col. 1), P. Ā. (but not Ā. in the sense of, 'rising, standing up' Pāṇ. 1-3, 24) {-tiṣṭhati}, {-te} (pf. {-tasthau} aor. {-asthāt} &c.) to stand up, spring up, rise, raise one's self, set out RV. AV. ŚBr. Ragh. Śak.
